More from the social at Roxy's

Thanks to Roxy for letting the CSC use her lake house for a hamburger and hotdog social on a real warm Saturday afternoon and for the use of her golf cart as a  taxi to and from the boat landing. Betty and Walter were there playing the music that we all love. They always do such a fantastic job it's hard to even imagine having a social without them. Thanks to Jim Carter and Johnny Perritte for making their boats available to all the club members that wished to spend a little time joyriding on the lake. It was a really nice thing to do and we appreciated it very much. Thanks to the cooks…. Jim Carter, Tom Lufkin, Larry Ernest  and anyone else that might have turned a burger.
Again, a special thanks to Roxy and all who played a supporting role. Last, but not least, a huge thanks to the 45 or more souls who braved the heat, brought  the side dishes and showed up to support this club function.  If you chose not to come, we missed you. But the rest of us had a great time anyway.
Roxy says " I hope everyone had a great time. It takes a lot of preparation to have something like this and I was happy to see you and really appreciate your efforts to be here. My thanks to each one of you that came out. It really was a fun afternoon".
