The meeting was called to order at 6:45 p.m. by our President, Steve Wilkerson.  All officers were present.

Steve asked Joe Tucker to thank Rob & Bill again for cooking the delicious BBQ for Geechee Blast.   He also thanked everyone for the side dishes that were served with BBQ at our meeting.

Secretary's Report:  Minutes were accepted as published in the newsletter.

Treasurer's Report:  Tom Trueblood announced that he had not printed out the report but that our numbers are very good for the year.  He thought there was around $10,000 in the account after Geechee Blast payouts.  The following numbers were faxed from Tom T. to Dot Smith on 11/9/05.  Oct. Expenditures: $2886.07; Income, $6180.00; Oct. ending balance $14,751.76.

Geechee Blast:  Gail reported that she didn't have a bottom line figure, but that she thought it would be about the same as last year.  Some of the committees made a little more this year, which made up for the fact that we didn't receive as much money from ATAC as we did last year.  She believes the bottom line will be $3500 to $4000.  She thanked all Committee chairpersons and helpers.  A full report will be forthcoming.

Christmas Party:  Anne reminded all who have volunteered to help decorate to be at the Rifle Club around 11 a.m. the day of the party.  Party dress is "Fashionably Dressy", no jeans or shorts please.  She asked that we send in our money early for our ticket.

Membership:  BJ announced that we had six visitors present.  She reminded us about the American Idol event to be held at our Nov. 19^th re-up party at Pivot's.  Participants should be there early.  She stated that she would need a lot of help that night with registration, etc.  She noted that our membership for 2005 is 210 members, and she already had 26 members re-up for 2006.  BJ also stated that if members need a badge to please give her the info.  Tom Lufkin stated that he will put a link on the Web site for members to send BJ the info.  Jeff will be cooking chicken at the Re-up party and members are asked to bring side dishes.
