the Folly Beach bridge around 11-11:30. There will be "ferry service" for those who do not have a boat so do not let that keep you at home. This is a
fun time.

Then on July 23, Roxy Robinson has invited everybody to her lake house at Bonneau Beach. We had a ball last year and look forward to doing it again. There were boat rides courtesy of Jim Carter and Johnny Perritte, hot dogs, hamburgers and music by Walter and all in a wonderful party spot. Bring your cooler! Is this a great club or what??

As I guess everybody knows by now, the Islanders Shag Club (ISC) has lost it's clubhouse at Folly Beach. We have all enjoyed many good times there and will miss it. They will be having meetings and most functions at J B Pivots until a suitable home can be found. In the meantime we should see more of them at Pivots and hope they will join us for our parties. We do enjoy doing things together and hope there be more opportunity for that.

Speaking of parties, man 'o man, did Lynn and Francis Lee put on a party! The Tacky Tourist party was a full house, and a full dance floor as Walter played the music. I hope you were able to see the Tacky Decorations through the crowd. They were a hoot. Thanks to Lynn, Francis and decorators Toya, Dot, Bill (Jumper), Shirley, Molly and Linda.

This will be a tough act to follow but Betty Hall and Bobby Weaver are up to the task. They are hosting our next party at Pivots on June 17, a "Caribbean Party". Betty Brown will be spinning the tunes and this will undoubtedly be another great party.

On Saturday July 2, Alfie Herring is hosting the ISC annual Bird Key Beach Party and has invited all of us to join them for fun in the sun and sand. Fried chicken will be furnished by both clubs. Everyone is asked to bring your cooler and a covered dish. Folding chairs and beach umbrellas are good to have, too. We will leave from the Folly Landing at
